In the heart of life’s beautiful chaos, I found myself in a familiar struggle that perhaps resonates with you, the eternal battle with time. I have a loving family with two energetic children, a demanding career, a growing side business, and various volunteer commitments all vying for attention. My health and fitness goals? They seemed like distant dreams floating in the periphery of my packed schedule.

The Moment My Mindset Changed…..
Then one day, a simple yet profound statement stopped me in my tracks: “You will always find time for whatever you consider important.” These words pierced through my wall of excuses and transformed my perspective entirely.
Developing a System
This revelation led me to develop a practical system, one that has revolutionized how I approach my goals. Instead of letting important priorities slip through the cracks of daily chaos, I began treating them with the respect they deserved. Each priority earned its place in my calendar, and I cultivated the habit of regular check-ins to stay accountable.
The transformation was remarkable. Those “impossible” health and fitness goals? They started becoming a reality. Not because I magically created more hours in the day, but because I finally gave them the attention they deserved.
Here is what I learned: Time is not about having more of it – it is about honoring what truly matters to us through intentional planning and commitment.
Action Points:
- Take 30 minutes this weekend to list your top three priorities that you have been “too busy” for. Schedule specific time blocks for them in your calendar for the upcoming week.
- Create a daily 5-minute calendar check-in ritual – perhaps with your morning coffee or evening tea, to review and recommit to your scheduled priorities.
Remember, we do not find time, we create it for what matters most.
