The Vision Method That Helps You See the Future Now

Throughout this incredible month, we have explored the amazing power of visionary thinking. We learned to look back with hindsight vision, see clearly in the present with insight vision, plan ahead with foresight vision, and think strategically with farsight vision. Now, we are ready to discover the final part of our Visionary Thinking series: 360 degree vision.

Think of 360 degree vision as having the most amazing set of eyes in the world. Just like an eagle can see in all directions at once while soaring high in the sky, 360 degree vision helps you see every angle of your life and make the very best decisions possible.

Definition

360 degree vision is the ability to combine hindsight, insight, foresight, and farsight to see all ramifications and make the highest quality decisions. It means using all four types of vision together, like a wise leader who considers the past, present, and future all at the same time.

Personal Story

Let me share with you how 360 degree vision has helped me lead my business, 3G Action, for the past five years. It has been an incredible journey full of challenges, surprises, and amazing discoveries.

When I think about hindsight vision in my business, one of the biggest teachers was navigating through COVID. Those challenging times taught us so many valuable lessons about being flexible and quick to change when needed. We learned to be very careful about spending money and to always focus on what our customers truly needed. We discovered that hard work and dedication matter more than anything else. Most importantly, we learned to be patient with new contracts until they were completely signed and never to abandon work we had already committed to doing. These lessons from the past have made us much wiser.

For insight vision, my wife and I have a special routine where we regularly sit down together to review our financial forecasts. We do not just look at numbers on a page, we use systems thinking to understand how different parts of our business connect to each other. We ask questions like: “How does our marketing affect our sales? How do our current projects influence our future opportunities? How do economic changes in the world affect our customers?” This helps us see clearly what is really happening right now in our business.

When it comes to foresight vision, I spend time every week thinking about how to make our relationships with existing customers even stronger. I ask myself: “How can we help them even more? What new services might they need? How can we grow together?” This forward-thinking approach has helped us expand and grow many of our accounts into beautiful, long-term partnerships.

And for farsight vision, my wife and I regularly have strategic conversations about the big picture. We think about questions like: “How can we expand into new markets? Which new cities or countries might need our services? What is the smartest way to grow while being wise about taxes and costs?” These long-term strategic discussions help us make decisions that will benefit our business for many years to come.

The beautiful thing is that all these different types of vision work together like instruments in an orchestra. Each one plays its own important part, but when they come together, they create something magnificent that helps us make the highest quality decisions for our business and our family.

Why 360 Degree Vision Changes Everything

360 degree vision helps you make decisions with confidence because you have looked at every angle and considered every important factor. Instead of feeling confused or uncertain, you feel clear and strong about the choices you make. It is like having a superpower that helps you navigate life with wisdom and grace.

Most importantly, 360 degree vision helps you create a life that makes sense, where your past experiences guide you, your present moment grounds you, your near future excites you, and your long-term dreams inspire you. Everything connects and works together beautifully.
